With an undergraduate minor in science, Erik obtained his doctorate in 2023. Following this, he completed his qualifications to become a life coach. He is registered with the Life Coach Training Institute in the United States. He has also been trained by — and is registered through — the Canadian National Coaching Certification Program. In addition, Erik has taken course work on crisis intervention, interventions for working with traumatized children, teens and families in foster care and adoption, and working with teens in the youth justice system.
Erik provides one-on-one life coaching either in person (locally) or virtual (around the globe). He is an expert in working directly with young adults, specifically those exiting the child welfare system or the juvenile justice system.

Erik is a licensed Marriage Officiant in the province of Ontario, authorized to solemnize marriages under provincial law. He works with couples of all backgrounds and beliefs to create ceremonies that are personal, meaningful, and authentic to who they are. He can officiate interfaith, non-denominational, spiritual, secular, and culturally rooted ceremonies, and can incorporate Christian or Jewish traditions where desired — while recognizing that these ceremonies are not performed as a Catholic Sacrament of Marriage or as a halachic Jewish wedding. Whether you are seeking a fully customized celebration, a spiritually inspired ceremony, or a simple legal marriage, Erik provides an inclusive and respectful experience that will honour your values, your story, and your commitment to one another.
